Department Objectives

1. Public Safety through enforcement of both criminal and traffic statutes, as well as Municipal Ordinances.

2. Positive involvement in the affairs of the community for enhanced interpersonal communications with residents, business owners and visitors alike. 

3. Responsive interaction with other law enforcement and criminal justice agencies and emergency services personnel for increased exchange and networking of information in response to crimes and emergency events.

4. Utilization of modern technology such as body worn cameras, in car computers and technology systems with internet integration, a networked Records Management and Computer Aided Dispatch system with GPS mapping and 24/7 monitoring
